The photo was taken at sunrise on Thanksgiving morning on our farm in Northwest Iowa. Annual fall harvest was just completed, so the combine and trucks are still parked outside. We are fortunate to see the sunrise every morning from our kitchen windows, but it was particularly beautiful this day and captured the feeling of gratitude I have to love and raise my family on the farmland that has been in my husband’s family for more than 100 years.
