Surfing is an American cultural pastime. Born in Hawaii, and exported to the world; it is an iconic marriage between grace and peril... but not something you typically witness on the US East Coast. Therefore it was a surprise one early morning to see several dozen would-be surfers out for a sunrise surf in the Atlantic.
