Sunrise when reaching Uhuru Peak after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
We began our summit climb to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro at 1:00 AM on day five of our trek. At 6:30 AM we reached the highest point in Africa, Uhuru Peak at 5895 meters, just in time to see the sun rising.
