Southern California is best known for its majestic coastline, but for me, its actually the Mojave Desert that captures my imagination the most. Underneath its harsh appearance is an environment that is full of life and beauty, and Joshua Tree National Park is one of the best places to experience that. It is quiet, it is serene, and the sunset is simply breathtaking.
