Sunset Avenue was taken from the rooftop of the apartment building Residences on the Avenue, in Washington D.C. Taken during one of the last weeks of the summer, the setting sun mirrors the setting end to summer. As the sun went down, the sky filled with both darkness for the night and unknown in the year to come, and brightness for the many beautiful moments that took place during the day and throughout the summer. As I stood so high up, I felt as if I was walking on the sky. The sunset filled the sky like an avenue; a broad road in the sky, with trees faintly seen below.
