History never dies. A sustainable travel project looks like history being reborn again. Ponte Trinita is the bridge west of the Ponte Vecchio. There are four statues at each corner of the bridge representing the seasons. This bridge has been destroyed three different times since its birth in 1252, but it has always been rebuilt. Not many people even realize all of the history they are standing upon while taking their photos of the Ponte Vecchio. Being able to sustain a beautiful bridge such as Ponte Santa Trinita and other beautiful pieces of history is what a sustainable travel project looks like to me. Being able to capture the true beauty and show others so they can join you is something spectacular in and of itself.
