Years have passed and this California girl gets the chance to bring her family back to her old Kentucky home. Outside of my parents house, farm country stretches for miles and miles. Harvested fields give a powerful foreshadowing of change, and a breath of fresh air is all you need to remind you where you are. For the first time, I got to let my little city girl spread her arms and run down a country road in the wide open air.
