Sunset inside the eye of Hurricane Zeta in New Orleans.
Myself and a few neighbors stepped outside to assess the damage and remove debris from the street and storm drains to prevent flooding while the eye of Hurricane Zeta was passing over New Orleans. During our short time outside, the sky turned an amazing shade of deep orange and yellow and a giant flock of birds was flying along the colorful horizon. The colors of the sunset reflected in the puddles. The image was taken in the open space above the north golf course in New Orleans' City Park. That section of the park is bordered with cypress and oak trees. Photo was taken on October 28, 2020.
