"Sunset" on Alaska Range | Denali Highway

Renting a campervan in Alaska IS the way to see this state. It is just so big that you have to drive it. The evening that I captured this photo actually ended up being the longest day of the year and in Alaska that that means that the sun really just skips along the horizon. It never really goes down. This also literally means that that golden "hour" is really more like 5 hours long. I think I took hundreds of photos that night. This highway gets you up in the tundra so the 360 degree vistas and views from this highway at the right times of day are unbelievable.
