This photo welcomes visitors to the area in which I reside: a blend of farm and forest. There’s a sign along the roadway that says “Welcome to Jefferson County.” The farm fields are beautifully patterned atop the hill. In the valley below is a tiny town. This photo was taken at sunset on a summer day. I venture there often for it provides beautiful 360• views. I learned to fly at this location and another so it provides me with a memory of my late husband as well.
