My young son enjoying a tire swing overlooking beautiful Torch Lake in Northern Michigan. It was my birthday and we were just finishing a meal when my wife noticed my son heading for the swing. I captured his pure joy in mid-swing during the kind of sunset you only get in mid fall over these crystal clear waters. Of all the photos of sand dunes and lighthouses on our vacation, this one has the most meaning. It captures the carefree innocence of my son's childhood.
