The heat of the day preceding this shot was above 116 degrees and a boat ride seemed like the best idea to cool off. We headed out an hour before sunset and quickly began to see the colors of the sky radiate in such a beautiful manner. The motion of the waves rolling from our boat perfectly contrasted the stillness of the mountain in the background. It was simply stunning.
