A friend of mine, who is emotionally connected to the city of Ohrid and Lake Ohrid in Macedonia, and who has traveled to many countries around the world, tells me that sunsets like the ones that happen here are rare and unique. The evenings are ideal for recreation and walks of the numerous visitors who stay here from April until the first days of autumn. One of the most common tours is a boat ride from the city to the surrounding recreation areas.
