Sunset Over Mt. Iliamna
Alaskan sunsets are nearly always some shade of gold. This particular day had been somewhat rainy and there were scattered clouds around the area. In addition, the volcanoes on the Cook Inlet sometimes have their own weather microsystem direct overhead. There was a clear band of sky just above the mountain and I caught the sun sinking below the clouds.
