Sunset from the beach at the Colony Hotel, Isla de la Juventud, Cuba. I was working on a research project and was based out of the hotel, which meant I had a prime spot to watch the sun go down every evening. The remains of the pier at the bottom of the photo used to lead out to a restaurant before both were destroyed by a hurricane in 2004.
