Sunset over Tuangthaman Lake, Myanmar

This photo was taken from U Bein bridge in Myanmar, as I watched locals cross Tuangthaman Lake using a narrow jetty. They spoke and gestured to each other as the sun set, casting them in silhouette against hazy, distant temples. The bridge from which I shot was built in 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.
