My 10-year-old daughter loves to ride her scooter around Lake Merritt, in our home town of Oakland, CA. On this evening in September we managed to catch a perfect sunset. I think many people who haven't been to our city don't realize how incredibly beautiful it is. This picture shows the side of Oakland we know and love.
