This photograph was taken on a cold winter morning at the Hackescher Markt Train Station in Berlin, Germany. Because it was so early, the platform was empty and sunlight could enter fully, with no opposition. In so doing, it was possible to clearly appreciate, and enjoy, the beauty of the station's old architecture, arguably the its best feature.
