“Sup In Dog Town” – This photo was taken on 09/22/18 at the world-famous Venice Beach Skate Park in Dogtown, where progressive skateboarding and the American Skateboarding Culture was born in the early 1970s. On any given day, local extreme boarders, skateboarders from around the world and even wheelchair skaters will carve, grind, mesmerize spectators with their jaw-dropping moves. This photo was only one of two frames I managed to capture in the midst of a split-second, un-prompted, purely coincidental, leap of fate as I happened to notice an extreme skateboarder catapulting himself out of a bowl, hanging air over local WCMX Wheelchair Motocross Champion, Katherine Beattie, as she sat silently catching her breath.
