Super Granny Tutu

In the Nairobi slum of Korogocho, there exists a group of grandmothers who practice karate and other martial arts in order to help defend themselves against gangs who pray on the older women in the slum at night. Tutu is a 102 year old grandmother who is one of the members of this society of women, “Shoso Jikinge” or Swahili for “Grandmother, Protect Yourself!”, who meet every week to hone their skills.
