The supermoon rises over clam farming huts at Dong Chau beach, Thai Binh Province, Vietnam, in November 2016. This was the biggest and brightest supermoon since 1948, with a distance of 356,511 kilometers (221,526 miles) from Earth, and it will only be surpassed in 2034.
