Blake surprised Maddy with a proposal on Yorktown Battlefield in Virginia, where she was supposed to be doing a fairy-tale themes photoshoot. He rode in as a knight in shining armor and proposed to her. She said yes, and he brought in a horse for her to ride as well. As the photographer of this special event, it was a treat to be able to work with horses for the first time.
