Surround sound without electricity

I found these human-shaped and instrument-shaped holes in an ancient palace in Isfahan, Iran. The servants who used to perform music would sit in a small compartment and play music, and these music sounds It will be transmitted to all parts of the palace through the pipeline of these openings, just like modern audio, but this way does not require the use of electricity. This method was very powerful and beautiful at the time, it was a combination of technology and art.
