16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Swamp roots shot from my canoe at water level.
I saw interesting patterns in the roots and foliage as they were reflected in the dark, still swamp waters. While processing in Photoshop I allowed my imagination to run wild with cropping, multiple duplications, colorizations, etc.
