This photograph was taken at the Almsee in Austria. I went there early in the morning with the intention of capturing a moody winter landscape at sunrise when I came across this swan. I decided to watch it for a while and to wait for an opportunity for an interesting shot of the swan and the first light on the mountain peak in the background. I had to wait for a while but wasn't disappointed when the swan started cleaning his plumage making quite a nice display of himself.
