Skansen is an open air museum in Stockholm's Djurgården where the nation’s traditions, craftsmanship, and wildlife are showcased. After spending the entire day walking through the museum and reading its many plaques; I was exhausted, when a vacant, solitary bench caught my eye. After sitting there for a few minutes, I noticed some movement out of the corner of my eye. This furry Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) was scurrying about in the trees above me. Moving very slowly as not to spook the little guy, I took out my camera to take the shot!
