14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel

The Tambobong or the roofed ox cart is a mobile retail store loaded with local handicraft made from bamboo and rattan products manufactured by peasants to augment their income from farming. The carts also served as home and shelter of viajeros from the sun and rain on the road.
