Fez of Morocco is well known for its crafts and leather works. Its tanner neighborhoods keep the traditional tanneries. In the tannery, tanners are manually tanning the raw leathers. The smell there is very strong and working condition is not that great. But it's a showcase of how finest leathers are being made in traditional way.
