Taytacha de los Temblores

The celebration of "Taytacha de los Temblores" is of particular interest because they can clearly appreciate the fusion of Andean religions and Christianity. The image of the Lord of the Earthquakes is carried in procession along the streets of the city as it was with the ancient mummies of chiefs, priests and Inca rulers. The centerpiece of the celebration falls on ñucchu flower, which was used for offerings to Viracocha (the Inca God of Sun) and currently is part of the crown of the Taytacha de los Temblores.
