Taken May 22, 2019 during the sunrise at 5:20am in Alishan, Taiwan. I am with an owner of a local cafe and BnB who guides my girlfriend and I along a path above the tea farms. He tells us in Chinese about the glowing mushrooms (at night) that grow on dead bamboo. He also explains the two types of tea in front of our legs. The morning time is often the only period of the day when Alishan sees sunlight. By afternoon, fog causes visibility to be only about a hundred yards or less.
