Teglias Park Odd bird out
Normally I photograph the homeless population at the park near my home. But in the midst of the drug, alcohol, mental dysfunction and otherwise insanity that lives there, beauty co-habitats. There are other birds that live in the park: Mallard ducks, Snow Geese from Canada, Mud Hens (as my father called them), pigeons (Mike Tysons favorite bird) and strangest of all.... White Pelicans. I live six hours east by car to the nearest ocean. Yet we have pelicans fishing in the park for food. Reno is an odd place.
