Terrapin Love

The Diamond Terrapin Turtle with its two babies were hanging on to a log on the Great Bay just a few hundred feet from where the Diamond Terrapin female turtles cross the road to lay their eggs in the sand. Once the eggs hatch shortly after the baby Terrapins head to the shallow swampy water to learn to swim and gather food. The small turtles seem in a trance looking at mom with such emotion.
