Empty winter roads bring quiet scenes of beauty and travel perils as well. I pulled off the road to photograph this beautiful evening light glowing on the Teton Range and promptly got stuck in snow. A passing off-duty Teton County Deputy Sheriff kindly hauled my little car onto the road with his pick-up.
