I recently returned from a life changing service trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and I was able to snap this photograph while there. After gazing at the longhorns, the rancher that my group was working with let us feed them, and the sorrel colored longhorn in front was definitely the alpha! The thing that I love about this photo, is that it looks like a still from an old technicolor Western. It feels like it contains the old essence of the West.
