The subject of the image is a representation of humanity and the multiple facets that make up our personalities which are so invisible to each other. The atmosphere of the portrait is meant to show what it might look like to see all the facets of a person from the outside. The darkness and mysteriousness or the composition represent how much of each other we don't understand.
