This Thai Pavilion located in Olbrich Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin was first assembled in Thailand, then taken apart and shipped to the United States. The pavilion, known as a sala in Thailand, is made of teak. The high lacquer finish and gold leaf etchings make a bold contrast with the white dusting of snow in its new Wisconsin home.
