Most Vietnamese people wear new clothes to celebrate Tet, or the Lunar new year, in order to promote a fresh beginning to the year, especially the Ao dai that is the national traditional dress in Vietnam. A few weeks before this event, many Vietnamese of all ages go to the streets, to the temples, with these traditional clothes to have their photo taken.
