The Archer

The photo captures from behind, the tension in the bronze figure of Diana, the goddess of hunting, as she takes aim to shoot an arrow. The Huntress Fountain was designed by Countess Feodora Gleichen, the first woman member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, and installed in the Rose Garden of London's Hyde Park in 1906.
