19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
The Art of Flight
I sat high atop the canopy over 120 feet up at sunrise watching the sun crest the horizon, and the jungle come to life. It was one of those all too special visceral mornings that stir your soul. I was able to catch this Mealy Parrot in flight.
