The ascent of youth after Fidel

The ground floor entry to the restaurant La Guardia in Havana, is also where the film Fresa y chocolate was filmed, Cuba's 1995 submission to the Oscars for Best Foreign Film - a film of a friendship in a very controlled society, where diversity is suspect. The statue's head is missing and Fidels name on the wall replaces it.
