12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
The Atlantic Ocean from Ballycotton, Ireland
It rains quite a bit in Ireland so this beautiful, sunny day was rare. The ocean was so blue and the cliffs (partially seen on the right side of the picture) were so green. The colors were amazing and it was simply a perfect day in Ballycotton.
