Stone Town is a fascinating collision of regional histories. I captured this shot and the corresponding series during a visit to the local harbor which still doubles as the local's fish market. It is full of strong scents, sounds, and constantly in motion despite the heat and humidity. In this shot locals have intercepted a small fishing boat, with the auction taking place in motion as the boat makes its way to shore.
