20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
The Badlands
This is a view within the Badlands National Park. My wife and I made a 156-day trip through the U.S. in our 27-foot mobile home. I was amazed at the colors of the buttes and pinnacles and the panorama grass prairie.
