The Bajau Brothers

Four young Bajau Laut brothers, posing proudly in front of their homes. They were called gypsies of the sea, without citizenships, electricity, couldn't go to school, and excluded from many aspects of modern life. As early as the 15th century, the Bajau Laut moved around freely in the Sulu Zone. Many chose to stay on land in the emerging nation-states, while others chose to roam free at sea.
