The birds nest
In the abandoned Russian coal mining town of Pyramiden on Svalbard, the kittiwakes have taken over some of the old buildings as an alternate nesting site. Every single window-sill and similar space is used as a nesting site, used like the cliffs elsewhere on the archipelago.
