14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
The Blue City
As we pulled around corner of the mountain in Morocco a small town was finally visible and painted entirely blue and white. It's name is Chefchaouen and it was painted by the Jews for the Israeli flag thousands of years ago when they fled from Egypt.
