The boy imitating me with his glass as camera while I was working to document their life
Life is harsh and tough out there in the opencast coal mines of Eastern Jharia belt. There is so much uncertainty in the life of people living there as the mines are encroaching human settlements daily and the under ground coal fire burning for century has turned this place into an inferno with unbearable heat and poisonous fumes. This little boy never left me alone while I worked out of Bhowra No 4 and here he was imitating me with a glass as camera while I was covering their life and living conditions.
