The Buried Town

Taken while doing a road trip in the South island of New Zealand. This image shows historic Cromwell, which was flooded in the making of Clyde Dam. This man-made lake covers the remnants of the town of Cromwell which was moved to higher ground, and covers approximately 2/3 of the historic city.
