The Burnt Screaming Tree
This tree was one of the thousands of trees that burned in the Riverside Wildfire, Labor Day weekend. We had hurricane force winds, and terribly dry conditions. The fire raced towards Estacada Oregon, the town we live in. We were evacuated September 8th, and my wife and pets came home on the 18th. I was rushed to the hospital on the 17th, and had smoke inhalation. After I got home and felt better, I got to go out and see. It was sad to see homes, churches, farms, gone. I know people who have lost everything they owned. The Wildfires burnt almost 170,000 acres. My
