7/20/21 Warwick, RI - Sandra Cook has converted her garden into a monarch butterfly way-station by planting milkweed and other plants vital to their habitat. Eggs laid on the milkweed are collected and raised in her home. Upon being released, this one flew back and landed on her hand just before fueling up for the 4000 mile flight back to Mexico. Monarchs are endangered due to habitat loss.
